In a joint initiative, Um Al Emarat Park and Tadir Group set a new Guinness World Record for creating the largest mosaic made from recycled plastic bottle caps. A special celebration was held in the park to mark this achievement, attended by representatives from Tadir Group, Um Al Emarat Park, and the Guinness World Records evaluation committee. Both Tadir Group and Um Al Emarat Park had called on members of the Abu Dhabi community and resident families to participate in the attempt to break the record, which combined creativity with community involvement in environmental work. Visitors participated in placing recycled plastic bottle caps in designated areas to form global recycling symbols on a sustainable mosaic panel, embodying this artwork as a shining model of collaborative community efforts. The initiative saw the participation of 356 individuals from families, students, and visitors, who installed 24,846 plastic caps on a 25-square-meter mosaic. The project took approximately 18 hours of non-consecutive work to complete.
